My work involves creating organic forms coated in rescued paper that resemble scaled skins. I repurpose discarded printed graphics from my surroundings to craft deconstructed circular images, which I stitch onto wire-translucent fabric molded organically. Through sewing techniques, I fabricate skins lined with layers of information that can be worn to cover the body.
This process blends graphic design, sculpture, fashion, and photography elements to explore the relationship between printed graphics on paper and the social burden imposed on individuals by this excess of information. These 'Skins' aim to raise awareness about paper recycling by utilizing discarded graphic materials as an artistic medium that would otherwise end up in the trash.
